Thank you for the Living History Day. We were so sad when we had to leave. We loved using the slate boards, playing charades, memorizing our quotes, and reading the old fashion text books. This is a day we will never forget! This is a must do for all third grade classes! -Sharla Branquinho, 3rd Grade Teacher, Los Olivos School
Transported back in time to the pioneer days, this one room school house experience is amazing! Our community is so blessed to have this historical landmark. The Pleasant Valley

treasure for a lifetime. -Linda Mayer, 3rd Grade Teacher, SYV Charter School
Our spring field trip to Pleasant Valley Schoolhouse has become the highlight of the year for first graders at El Montecito School, San Roque. History comes alive for them as they role play a day in the life of children who lived more than a hundred years ago. We are so grateful for this fantastic experience! - Mary Afman, 1st Grade Teacher, El Montecito
